We use Supabase as our backend provider for authentication and database services. Your data is stored securely on their infrastructure. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, but please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

We may use third-party services (such as Google for authentication) which may collect information used to identify you. Please consult the privacy policies of these third-party service providers.

2. Description of Service

SmartCut is a tool designed to help users optimize material cuts (cutting stock problem). The results provided by the generic algorithms are estimates and suggestions. Real-world results may vary due to material defects, tool precision, or operator error.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Limitation of Liability

SmartCut is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy or reliability of the optimization results. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to wasted materials or project costs.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
